The Lighthouse is a well-appointed, light, cheerful, ground-floor condominium end unit, nautically decorated in a lighthouse motif. Facing the ocean, and cooled by ocean breezes and Hunter fans, the location of the Lighthouse cannot be beat. With a southwesterly exposure there is morning sun on the East Patio and afternoon sun on the West Patio. This allows you to enjoy “bistro dining,” relax on lounge chairs, and view the ocean from sunrise to beautiful sunset.

    All locations are not alike in Niguel Beach Terrace, and the Lighthouse has the best location because it is convenient to both Dana Strand Beach and to the Pool and Spas in Niguel Beach Terrace.  Located on a quiet greenbelt at the North end of Niguel Beach Terrace, the Lighthouse is the closest vacation unit to the new innovative inclined elevator (funicular) that runs from the top of the bluff down to Dana Strand Beach; and to a new stair beach access that has breathtaking ocean views and runs beside the funicular.  The unique, ocean-view location of the Lighthouse on a greenbelt is buffered from noise, traffic, and parking lots.

    Dana Point has pleasing, mild, temperate, weather all year round, and to compliment cool ocean breezes, the Lighthouse has 52” Hunter ceiling fans and dimmer lights in the Living Room, Master Suite, Guest Suite and Dining Room. Offering the best use of the sun and natural lighting, the Lighthouse has a magnificent floor to ceiling wall mirror on the east wall of the Living Room that brings in the light and reflects the ocean view. The six sliding closet doors in both the Master Suite & Guest Suite have floor to ceiling mirrors too.

      The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and all new appliances featuring a conventional oven with cook-top, microwave oven, automatic dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker and cooled water filtration system, coffee maker, espresso machine, toaster, blender, crock- pot, waffle maker, dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots and pans.  In addition to the table, chairs, and high chair in the Dining Room, there are table, chairs, and barbeque on the East Patio, and Bistro dining, with table, chairs and lounge chairs on the West Patio.

    For your entertainment viewing, the Lighthouse is equipped with three new flat screen   TV’s that all have hundreds of cable channels from which to choose.  The Master Suite and Guest Suite each have 37” LCD TV’s with DVD/VHS players; and the Living Room has a large 42” LCD HDTV/DVDR to record all your favorite programs, and a DVD/VHS player to view any of the wide selection of movies from the Lighthouse library.  For instance, enjoy watching Casablanca and then take the quiz from our book, Casablanca Film Trivia, Here’s Looking at You Kid!  Enjoy board games, puzzles, and a wide selection of books, including everything you always wanted to know about Lighthouses from the Library. Or just cuddle up and relax in front of the cherry wood electric fireplace.

    The Lighthouse is also equipped with high-speed (broadband) internet cable service with WiFi. Bring your laptop or use the Lighthouse PC in the Master Suite’s office that features a comfortable leather chair, antique cherry wood desk, great lighting, and a local  service land phone.

    Enjoy the luxury of Lighthouse quilts & throws, soft sheets and fine linens for the King Size Bed in the Master Suite, the two extra long twin beds that can convert to another king size bed in the Guest Suite, the queen size sofa bed in the Living Room, the porta crib, and two twin size air-beds.
